Aptitude in Amsterdam - Banking on Reporting Excellence

Aptitude Software is thrilled to sponsor E.N.G.’s 12th annual senior executive summit held in Amsterdam on 25-26 November 2014.

The event brings together Chief Financial Officers and Heads of Accounting at major banks to discuss how banks can achieve accounting excellence and deliver upon financial reporting and compliance requirements.

This summit goes beyond simple regulatory descriptions and delves into the strategic and business implications of financial reporting and accounting developments in the banking industry. It brings together experts from regulatory bodies and major European and global financial institutions to discuss how to effectively tackle, interpret and apply IFRS rules.

Aptitude Software provides software solutions to many leading banks, insurance companies and other financial services firms to help address statutory, regulatory and management reporting requirements.

Customers use Aptitude solutions, such as the Aptitude Accounting Hub, to generate and store the granular finance information needed to deliver next generation reporting. Our configurable finance products enable banks to drill-down from summarized General Ledgers balances to individual transactions, helping banks to have confidence in their reporting and to facilitate investigation and analysis.

Presentation - 26 November at 10:30 a.m.

Aptitude Software’s Tom Crawford and Nick Cromie will present on day two of the conference, 26 November at 10:30am.

The team will present a case study about how one leading European bank has moved away from a fragile, fragmented and inflexible infrastructure to meet changing regulatory and management reporting needs.

Many barriers stand in the way of banks’ abilities to report including ever-changing regulatory requirements, disparate data infrastructure, and the complexity of changing global accounting standards. Our case study will highlight steps all banks can take to implement a best practice finance architecture that empowers flexible and transparent reporting.
